ELFA welcomes new partner Octus to support with credit intelligence, data and workflow tools

The European Leveraged Finance Association (ELFA) is pleased to announce a new partnership with Octus, giving its members access to credit intelligence, data and workflow tools across high-yield, leveraged loan, CLO and private debt markets.

Octus supports the work ELFA members do every day: making confident credit decisions across portfolios under mounting regulatory pressure. The company’s nearly 300 financial analysts, legal analysts and expert journalists, along with AI-embedded technology, surface hard-to-find public and private data and turn it into a complete, verified picture. Octus closes the data gaps that slow down European credit teams, offering a unified solution built on proprietary data and spanning live deal flow, sponsor and comparables research, portfolio monitoring, reporting and compliance.

Two Octus solutions built for leveraged finance show what that looks like in practice. Sustainability 360 delivers standardised, auditable ESG data mapped to SFDR and TCFD reporting frameworks across the broadly syndicated loan and high-yield bond markets, helping firms satisfy contractual and regulatory reporting without assembling the data by hand. Activity-Based Screening automates the obligor research CLO indentures demand, instantly surfacing public and private exposure across restricted themes so analysts can verify mandate compliance and get back to generating alpha.

Through this partnership ELFA will work with Octus to offer intelligence to its members via webinars, publications and ELFA’s Expert Hub.

Ed Eyerman, ELFA CEO said, “We welcome the longstanding expertise and refined tools that Octus brings our members as a partner to ELFA. Data and intelligence are crucial for decision-making, and we look forward to collaborating with Octus in pursuit of increased transparency and insights for the leveraged finance sector.”

Sam Terry, Managing Director at Octus, said: “We are delighted to partner with ELFA to support its members across the evolving leveraged finance market in Europe. With the growing burden of new regulatory requirements, increasing pressure for standardised and increased disclosure, and expectations of unprecedented efficiency gains from AI, buyside firms face more challenges than just delivering returns to their investors. We look forward to sharing Octus’ intelligence and tools to help ELFA member firms meet demands as they evolve.”
