ELFA appoints Three New Co-Chairs for Three of its Committees

8th October 2024, London: The European Leveraged Finance Association (ELFA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Stuart Fuller as the new Leveraged Loan Committee Co-Chair, Nils Weber as the new Private Debt Investor Committee Co-Chair and Patrick Kersting as the new Disclosure & Transparency Committee Co-Chair. Stuart will take over from Saurabh Bhalla, Nils will succeed Alexandra Trapes and Patrick will replace Simon Duff after the completion of their terms. Stuart Fuller joined Muzinich & Co in 2016, where he is responsible for managing multiple global loan funds and segregated mandates. He is also responsible for the loan allocations of multi-asset credit funds and strategies that invest in both public and private debt. Additionally, Stuart is a member of the Muzinich Asset Allocation Group and CLO investment committee.

Stuart has over 20 years’ experience as a credit analyst and portfolio manager. Stuart earned a B.Sc. from the Faculty of Science at St Andrews University. Outside of work, Stuart is a non-executive director of an international art gallery and chairs the people and finance committee of a multi-academy trust of schools, providing education to over 3,000 students in the London Borough of Lewisham.

Nils Weber joined Pemberton in 2015 and works in Origination, covering Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH) with responsibility for originating, evaluating and executing new investment opportunities. Before that he was an Associate for leveraged buyout financings, high-yield and non-investment grade corporate transactions in Societe Generale’s Leveraged Finance Group in Frankfurt. He has nearly 15 years’ experience in leveraged and acquisition finance. Nils holds a Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Giessen and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Patrick Kersting is a Research Analyst, High Yield, at Morgan Stanley Investment Management in London. Patrick started his career as a publishing analyst covering High Yield with Deutsche Bank in London in 2001. After a stint as a publishing analyst for Bank of America Merrill Lynch, he left the sell-side of the market to join Castle Hill Asset Management in 2014, before joining Morgan Stanley Investment Management in 2017. Patrick is responsible for covering Paper & Packaging, Chemicals, Gaming and Energy in Europe, and holds dual French and German Masters-equivalent degrees in business administration from ESCP Europe.
