ELFA announces new Board Chair Alex Kay

The European Leveraged Finance Association (ELFA), a trade association for bond and loan investors in the European leveraged finance market, announces today the appointment of a new independent Chair of the Board, restructuring partner Alex Kay of law firm Hogan Lovells. Effective 1 January 2020, Mr. Kay will take over Chair of the Board responsibilities from ELFA’s departing Chairperson, Paul Clews, formerly a partner at White & Case LLP, who, as ELFA’s inaugural Chair, steered ELFA from its launch in 2019.

Sabrina Fox, Executive Advisor to ELFA, said: “The Board is deeply grateful to Paul for his hard work and sound guidance at ELFA’s founding and through its first year. ELFA is a strong organization for his involvement. We are pleased to welcome Alex as our new Chair of the Board. With his extensive background advising the buyside on a range of matters, and the resources supporting him within the broader Hogan Lovells team, he is uniquely suited to the role. ELFA appoints Lily Baik and Oliver Newman as Co-Chairs of the ESG Committee

ELFA is delighted to announce the appointment of two new Co-Chairs for its ESG committee. Lily Baik, Research Analyst in the European High Yield Team at J.P. Morgan Asset Management and Oliver Newman, Senior Credit Analyst at Fidelity International will commence their new roles immediately. They join Tina De Baere, Head of ESG at Polus Capital who is currently Co-Chair.
